Michael Gamson

After completing his degree in Special Education at USF, Michael Gamson worked for many years as a children’s case manager at a domestic violence shelter. It was there he discovered the transformative power of technology in education. After watching students with disabilities gain skills and self confi dence through the use of educational software, Michael began to study educational and adaptive technology. For the past 9 years he has been the IT Director at The Hillel School of Tampa. He believes in an open ended child centered style of learning where students discover through exploration and experimentation. Michael lives in the Carrollwood area with his wife and three children.
