EARLY MORNING CAMP with Ellia Sliwiak
7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. (all ages)
Early Morning Camp will give campers an opportunity to participate in age-appropriate social activities; like games, story telling and crafts, while parents with hectic schedules will enjoy the convenience of the early camp time.

ART with

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (ages 9-12)
In celebration of this week’s theme, Animals of the Rainforest, campers will take an exploration in paint and pastels focusing on animals (even extinct ones like dinosaurs!) and the environment of the rainforest.

DIGITAL ZOOM with Dione Cunningham
9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (ages 4-8) - SOLD OUT
12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (ages 9-12)
Digital Zoom Kids provides the cameras...and the creativity! DZ workshops provide campers with simple instruction and structured activities that encourage them to investigate the world around them and think creatively. Campers are challenged to consider the importance of distance, color, texture and composition. The camps will include an art craft and photo journalism component. Campers will learn fundamental decision-making skills by making decisions with regards to lighting, angles, subject matter and a host of other factors. In addition, campers will learn about the importance of respecting a variety of objects and subject matters. Finally, digital photography may serve as the gateway to other artistic endeavors, such as; painting, architecture, videography and photo editing.

HIP HOP with

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (ages 6-8)
12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (ages 9-12)
Campers will learn funky dance moves to today’s popular music. Campers will learn "Old Skool" to "New Skool" moves that are challenging and fun. No previous dance experience is required. Campers should dress comfortably enough to move in sneakers.

POTTERY with
Mary Ellen
O’Brien
9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (ages 9-12)
Campers will begin their journey with pottery by making pinch pots, slab building and coil designs. Campers will also paper mache "way out critters" and will work with other mixed media.
This is the second week of a two-week camp. Please refer to Week 6 for registration information.

YOGA with

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (ages 4-6)
Children’s yoga is a fun and exciting way to teach campers a unique blend of physical yoga and social skills. In this camp, campers will use visualization exercises to imitate living things to animate themselves as plants and animals as they gain a better understanding of oneness with nature.

In this camp, campers will have fun with paper mache and crayon resist while exploring with tubular sculptures, oil pastels and other creative projects.

ARTS & CRAFTS with

12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (ages 4-6)
This camp will include many different projects pertaining to the rainforest. Campers will create individuals projects as well as group projects through storytelling, games and fun creative crafts. Campers will learn hand-eye coordination, dexterity, patience, attention to detail and more. There is no right or wrong with arts and crafts...just the freedom to use stretch the imagination deep into the rainforest, or wherever it might want to go.

DANCE with

12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (ages 7-8)
Campers will journey through the many genres of dance during this camp while they learn everything from basic ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical, folk and Afro-cuban styles along with cultural diversity and history. Movement will be explored in a group setting with lots of great music and fun! Campers should bring dancing shoes if they have them.

Extended Camp will give campers an opportunity to participate in age-appropriate social activities; like games, story telling and crafts, while parents with hectic schedules will enjoy the convenience of the extended camp time.
