Room Rental

Why not try somewhere magical for your next gathering?

Located in the heart of Carrollwood Village, the Carrollwood Cultural Center is the perfect location to hold your next event, recital or meeting. Our campus includes a 26,000 sq. ft. main building equipped with a stage, dressing rooms, art studios, computer lab and conference rooms. Vaulted ceilings, an open lobby, caterer’s kitchen, and artistic decor can be transformed to meet your needs. In addition, we offer 4,400 sq. ft. at our sister building, The Studio and our lush campus grounds and outdoor stage provide a beautiful backdrop for any occasion.


Main Theatre

Our auditorium is the perfect location for a wedding reception, surprise party, recital or office party. The main hall features a 600 sq. ft. stage and comes with a caterer’s kitchen complete with two warmers, a refrigerator, freezer and ice maker. In addition, the backstage area has plenty of storage and three dressing rooms, which can be included with your rental. Finally, our Shigeru Kawai concert grand piano can be incorporated into your event for a whole new level of sophistication and class. (Seats up to 200 guests, or 140 with tables.)

This room rents in minimum increments of 4, 6 and 8 hours. The rental fee includes 2 hours at no additional charge for set-up and clean-up.

Deposit: $500
The deposit is due at the signing of the Rental Agreement and is refundable if all requirements of the agreement are met. Rental fee is due 10 days prior to the event.

Member Rates:

  • 4 hours = $1,200
  • 6 hours = $1,500
  • 8 hours = $1,800
  • Extra Time = $200 per hour

Non-Member Rates:

  • 4 hours = $1,400
  • 6 hours = $1,700
  • 8 hours = $2,100
  • Extra Time = $250 per hour

Not-for-Profit:

  • 4 hours = $1,300
  • 6 hours = $1,600
  • 8 hours = $2,000
  • Extra Time = $225 per hour.

 

Carrollwood Village Room

The Carrollwood Village Room is one of two meeting rooms at the Center and is named after the organization that bears its name. The space has large ceiling-to-floor windows, which provide plenty of natural sunlight. At 630 sq. ft., the Carrollwood Village Room is perfect for any type of gathering, from discussion groups to board meetings. (Seats up to 50 guests, or 30 guests with round tables.)

Deposit: $300
The deposit is due at the signing of the Rental Agreement and is refundable if all requirements of the agreement are met.

Rental Fee (due 10 days prior to the meeting and/or event):
$55 per hour for members
$65 per hour for non-members
The rental fee includes 30 minutes before the meeting/event for set-up and 30 minutes after the meeting/event for clean-up.


Meeting Room II

Like the Carrollwood Village Room, Meeting Room II is 670 sq. ft. and has large ceiling-to-floor windows. In addition, this room is next to a warming station with a mini-refrigerator and coffee maker – a convenient area to prepare small lunches and beverages for your event. (Seats up to 50 guests, or 30 guests with round tables.)

Deposit: $300
The deposit is due at the signing of the Rental Agreement and is refundable if all requirements of the agreement are met.

Rental Fee (due 10 days prior to the meeting and/or event):
$55 per hour for members
$65 per hour for non-members
The rental fee includes 30 minutes before the meeting/event for set-up and 30 minutes after the meeting/event for clean-up.


Theater Room

Do you need a space where you can break into groups, or do you require a certain set-up? Then the Theatre Room might be the perfect place for you. As a rectangular space at 815 sq. ft., the Theatre Room lends itself to creative set-ups, perfect for baby showers and birthday parties, allowing plenty of floor space for your favorite indoor party games. (Seats up to 60 guests, or 50 guests with tables.)

Deposit: $300
The deposit is due at the signing of the Rental Agreement and is refundable if all requirements of the agreement are met.

Rental Fee (due 10 days prior to the meeting and/or event):
$65 per hour for members
$75 per hour for non-members
The rental fee includes 30 minutes before the meeting/event for set-up and 30 minutes after the meeting/event for clean-up.


Computer Lab

Our computer lab offers 16 individual computer stations all with internet access and Windows applications. With an instructor station at the front of the room, all participants will be able to follow along by viewing on the instructor’s 42-inch screen.

Deposit: $300
The deposit is due at the signing of the Rental Agreement and is refundable if all requirements of the agreement are met.

$65 per hour for members
$80 per hour for non-members
The rental fee includes 30 minutes before the meeting/event for set-up and 30 minutes after the meeting/event for clean-up.


Art Room

What better place to meet than where creativity happens! The Art Room is the perfect place to hold a workshop, creative brainstorming and more. (As long as you don’t mind a little paint spattered on the floor.)

Deposit: $300
The deposit is due at the signing of the Rental Agreement and is refundable if all requirements of the agreement are met.

Rental Fee (due 10 days prior to the meeting and/or event):
$60 per hour for members
$75 per hour for non-members
The rental fee includes 30 minutes before the meeting/event for set-up and 30 minutes after the meeting/event for clean-up.


The Studio

The Studio, our sister building that resides across the lawn from the Center, provides an
additional 4,400 sq. ft. available for rent. With an auditorium, large meeting space and  smaller meeting rooms, The Studio can be transformed for recitals, parties, meetings and family reunions. (Seats up to 150 guests, or 120 with tables.)

Deposit: $500
The deposit is due at the signing of the Rental Agreement and is refundable if all requirements of the agreement are met.

Rental Fee (due 10 days prior to the event):
$150 per hour for members
$175 per hour for non-members
The rental fee includes 2 hours at no additional charge for set-up and clean-up.

Are you planning a piano recital? You can rent The Studio and the Baby Kawai piano for $200 per hour for members, or $250 per hour for non-members. The deposit for a piano recital is $300.
