“Natures Palette” by Bibzi Priori

My purpose as an artist: Creating beauty: Given to inspire, serving to elevate. For me the process of art begins with a single element which I then develop through time and motion to its finished tale. For the truth of it is that each artwork is a communication requiring the viewer to participate in a partnership with the artists that may last only as a forgettable moment or as long as many lifetimes. Although I work in many media and with a variety of subjects, my favorite pieces are those from the imagination. To me the realistic pieces are as studies for the abstractions which I save for my own pleasure. Every lesson I learn from a piece can be applied to the next. Therefore, art can be seen to follow laws that are applicable regardless of the genre or media. And to that end, nothing is worth pursuing unless it creates the beauty that elevates and inspires. That is the contract of the artist with society.
