Jennifer Kosharek placed second at ArtLAB 2017 presented by the Thornhill Foundation for the Arts (TFA) and also earned the privilege of TFA’s support for her own solo gallery show.
Kosharek is a St. Petersburg Florida street artist, painter and rag doll maker. Kosharek is involved with international art shows and is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art NYC, The MUBE in Brazil, MOMA Wales, the Smithsonian, DC, and various other museum, university and private collections. Kosharek’s images focus on her signature, Gretchen, character who symbolizes the need for women to even just exist in the art world. Gretchen exists in the form of street art murals, paintings, rag dolls, embroidery pieces and mail art that travels the globe.
