Broadway Bound, the youth theatre troupe at the Carrollwood Cultural Center, will hold auditions for new members on Saturday, August 31 from noon until 1pm.
Broadway Bound is an educational musical theatre program for children ages 6 to 17. The goal is to introduce and perfect the skills required for musical theatre production. By offering comprehensive training in dance, music, and drama, students will have the opportunity to be a well- rounded performer in all disciplines. Students are exposed to all aspects of the theatre and are educated in the audition process.
Broadway Bound students and graduates have appeared in several productions at the Center, including Oliver!, The Music Man, The King and I, Hairspray: The Broadway Musical, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and G2K Once Upon a Mattress. The group will produce Honk! Jr. in October.
Auditions will be held at the Center, located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa. For more information, visit CarrollwoodCenter.org, or email Broadway Bound director Mary Jo Hahn at email@example.com.
