Sweeten’s  music has aired and been reviewed across the world to wide critical acclaim.  Her music is played on MUSIC CHOICE/”Soundscapes”, XM SATELLITE “Spa 33”, SIRIUS Spa 68”, Pandora.  Shows streaming on LIVE365 Internet Radio: Anima, Beautifulmusic, My Spirit Radio, New Age Rhythms, Seascapes, Smooth Piano; Yahoo/Musicmatch Radio.  Also licensed through Muzak, DMX and Spafax.

Her last release,  Just this Side of Spring  Sweeten co- produced with Will Ackerman, Grammy award-winning artist/producer and founder of Windham Hill Records.  On her newest album, In the Wake, Ann Sweeten resumes her role as producer in another collaborative effort with Will. He had this to say:  “Ann Sweeten’s music continues to evolve, broaden and deepen. It’s now beyond doubt that her prodigious performances are equaled by her brilliant compositional skills. This is an artist very much at the top of her game and everything has come together seamlessly in her new CD, In the Wake.”   One of the most decorated pianists of the past decade, she is also one of the most played modern instrumentalists in North America. Sweeten blends stylish, sophisticated, technical composition in well-rooted classical themes with originality and passion, resulting in performances that pack an emotional wallop.

A truly well-rounded individual and artist, Ms. Sweeten is a staunch environmentalist, animal activist and vegetarian.  In addition to her Concert and Recording career, she is also a professional actress and singer with Actor’s Equity Association.  A trained Ballet Dancer, and former Female Front to the Rock Band FALLOUT, she earned a degree in foreign languages from SmithCollege, (B.A. Cum Laude), studied in Paris and later at the Boston Conservatory.  Ann Sweeten is herself a Breast Cancer survivor twice over and is involved with the Arts in Healthcare Initiative.
