Design for Painters with Gainor Roberts

Friday, October 20  • 1 – 3:30 pm / REGISTER

Friday, December 1 • 1 – 3:30 pm / REGISTER

In art, design separates the good from the best! Learn the elements of design: line, share, direction, size, scale, texture, color, value, rhythm, etc. How we organize our paintings could be a class that take a lifetime, but in this workshop, we will only have time to examine how some of the famous artists used the rule of thirds, rabatment, and the Golden Ratio. Students will make thumbnail sketches to see if they can improve on the “greats”. For more information, visit www.classesbygainor.com.
