How to register for classes


Beginning Ceramics for Kids with Dealey Dansby

Kids, tweens, and teens will learn the basics of hand building: pinch, coil and slab. Students will create bowls, mugs, plates and more!

Ages: 5 – 17 • Levels: All

Supplies: Dish towel, large sponge, small plastic bowl, 5-gallon bucket with lid, 1-gallon bucket, set of pottery tools, apron. Supplies may be found at craft supply stores and hardware stores.

Tuition: Members $90 / Non-member $105

(This class requires a material fee of $45 due to the teacher the first day of class.)

Handbuilding with Gilda Butler

Adult students of all skill levels of all levels will get a chance to learn and explore a variety of hand building techniques, applications and treatments. This class is offered more than once per week. Please see schedule.

Wheel Throwing with Gilda Butler

Adult students of all skill levels will learn the basics of wheel throwing by forming and throwing simple shapes on the potter’s wheel. More advanced students will build upon the basics to create larger more advanced projects. This class is offered more than once per week. Please see schedule.

New Class Raku Firing with Gilda Butler

Adult students of all skill labels will hand build pieces suited for final Raku firing the last Saturday of the session (or last two Saturdays depending on the number of students).

Raku Firing Saturdays with Gilda Butler

Raku Firing Saturdays are opened for current adult students enrolled in the new Raku Firing Class, Handbuilding and Wheel Throwing.
