History

The Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department provided for the acquisition of the building and land for the creation of a cultural center for the residents of Hillsborough County which is located in the heart of the Carrollwood area. The Carrollwood Cultural Center, which opened in March 2008, is a resource to allow various Arts, Entertainment and Vocational activities to flourish within a climate of inclusion. The Friends of the Carrollwood Cultural Center have worked hand in hand with Hillsborough County in the planning and development of this project.
